Garden of The Heart

Friends... Today I thought for a while about how plants grow from a seed planted in the ground. Of course they must be nourished in those early stages when they break forth from the tiny seed and make their way up through the dirt. From the time they ascend, their roots dig deep in the ground, they are rooted. It is then, that work is most vital. The dirt shouldn't be packed too tight around it, because it will have a hard time growing. Without water it will shrivel up and die out, and it must be weeded. For when weeds grow around the plant they will undoubtedly take the nourishment from the plant and smother it out.

But if you water it, cultivate around it and take care of it daily, it will grow to produce great fruits. But what happens when a worm comes along and gets inside the plant? It eats from the inside out, and the plant dies and it's fruit along with it.

Think of it this way my friends. When you become a Christian, you plant that seed. If you take on the troubles of the world, and let them pack that seed down, it won't see the light of maturity. If you don't weed out around that plant when it does come through the top-soil, then the weeds will overtake the plant. And if you don't refill that plant with worship, praise and faith, then it won't grow. A plant that doesn't grow, only dies off.

Finally, if you sprinkle bug dust around your plant, the worms and bugs cannot get into the plant and kill it.

To sum it up. When you plant that seed friends, take the utmost care to make it grow and continue to flourish. For things of this world will try to kill that seed before it ascends to the top. The Accuser will throw everything he can your way to try and kill that plant as it grows, it will try to stunt it's grow. But with Worship, Praise, Faith and Prayer we can weed him out of our Garden. Amen?

We have to pray, we have to work daily to keep on track, we must protect the plant which grows in all of us. When you feel that you cannot work that garden anymore, pray for help, the Heavenly Father is there to assist anytime, night or day, in the valley or on the moutain top. He is our Father, and we are His Children, if you ask for His help, He will not turn you away. Ask Him, He will surely tell you it's true.

We have a Father in Heaven who is the greatest of greats, the almighty, the king of kings and lord of lords. You know the greatest thing about that? He will be there tonight, in the next four hours, the next four years, the next four hundred centuries. He is the ONE and ONLY, TRUE and LIVING God. Give him a try, He will not fail you.

Did you know, it is not God that fails us, it is We who fail Him. God is incapable of failing us. Take that as a promise that He will always be there for you. You see Jesus said that He wouldn't leave you, nor forsake you. And before he ascended he said, And Lo, I am always with you, even until the end.

Friends, that is a wonderful promise, even as much as the promise that He went to prepare us a home and that He will return for us in due time. The question is, Are you prepared to go home? Most of you are, but I implore you, just as I have to check myself, to look inside yourself and make sure you are ready. He will come when we least expect it, and that is why he told us to be ready, like the Virgins and their lamps.

If you are not ready, or you don't know God or His Son, and you want to have a closer relationship with Him, ask Him to forgive you, to wash you clean and to fill you with His beautiful and wonderful spirit. You want Him in your life, and you know you cannot live without Him. You believe in Him, and that He sent His only Son in the world to Save you from Sin. You accept Him in your heart and in your life.

It's just that easy. Now I will leave you with a prayer.

Dear God, I pray that You will bless those reading this and that You will protect them as they grow in You Lord. Father, I ask that you touch those who do not know you, and those that are in need of financial and health help. Lord you told us to ask you and believe, you told us that you would give unto us what we need. So Father, as the person reads this now, touch them, and bless them in a mighty way. May they find you and begin their relationship with you and their garden of the heart. In Jesus name I ask and thank you for everything. Amen.

Parable Learning

We are Children of The Most High God. He is our Maker, Father, Lord, Provider, He is everything to us. He is the great creator of all. That being said, I want to tell you a story here. A man had a wife and four children. He was a wealthy man, and was old in age. He had four businesses that thrived well. A Bakery, Winery, Potato Farm and a chain of Antique Stores. Seeing that he was old in age, and feeble in health he decided to split his wealth with his four children. One took over the Bakery, another over the Winery, the Potato Farm and another over the Antique Stores. Years passed and the Wealthy Man died. The businesses and wealth fell upon his four Children.

Now the one with the Bakery had turned the business into 50% profit, 50% charity. For seeing the bulk of profit, his heart felt heavy and he felt lead to give back. The Potato Farmer had seen a large increase in yield, and began giving extra potatoes to the poor families.

The Wine-Maker seeing large gains of monetary collection from the strong drinks being sold globally, decided he would open two Nightclubs and hire female dancers to boost his profit even higher. The Antique Dealer found a supply of damaged or seemingly perfect furniture for rock-bottom pricing. He bought the entire load of antique furniture, and seemingly antique items, replicas and reproductions. Took them to his shop and done some aesthetic work to the items. He sold everyone of them, and decided to use the money to open Liqour Stores.

Years later, their mother died and the economy was declining. The Wine-Maker was shot in the head by an angry patron of the Nightclubs he opened. He went before the judgement seat and was sent away. Months later the Antique Dealer was mugged outside a shop, because someone had caught onto his scams. He died and went before the Judgment seat, and was sent away.

To this day The Baker and The Potato Farmer still run their businesses, giving to the poor, sharing with the hungry, giving hope to the children who are less fortunate. Blessed is their crop and production, blessed is their health and prosperity, for they followed the Lords commandments and loved not the money, and gave not into Greed.

Let me remind you, The Lord gives us opportunities to both bless other people and ourselves. To better our situation and the situation of others. But if we take that opportunity for granted and get greedy for our own gain, then the Lord will take that opportunity away from you. When Blessed, we should bless others. When we have the extra, we should spare to others.

Remember, Do Unto Others As You'd Have Them Do Unto You.

Power of The Word

The power of the word was instilled in Mary and born to us a Mortal Man. His name was Jesus Christ, and He came to make a way for us. He died for us, He lived and suffered in the flesh just as others do, but can you say you would bare the same suffering? Could you walk that walk to the Hill? Could you take that whipping from the Cat of Nine Tails? Could you refrain from cursing as the soldiers drove the spike-like nails in your hands, you feet? And in the middle of that blistering sun, covered in gashes and blood, sweat burning the open wounds, flies already attacking the flesh, and your parched tongue wanting only a taste of cool water... Could you manage to remain Christian-like in all that suffering? Or the other way around, could you watch your Child - your one and only Child - be mocked, beaten, whipped, the flesh torn from his back, covered in bruises and blood, hang on that Cross and suffering for the sin of men? Either way, I seriously doubt you would or could do either, but don't take that as a shame. God sent His only son into the world, to die for our sins, to pay the fee of remittance so that we wouldn't have to... That was His task, and He defeated Death, Hell and The Grave. Had I been in Jesus' shoes, I doubt I could have done the same for the men of this Earth. But He did, God in the Flesh came to die for us, to save us from sin and eternal fire. How Great is our God!? Amen?

Remember, the Power of the Word is outstanding, it can heal a broken heart, it can mend broken relationships, and heal the sick. The Word can do wonders for your life. The Word was, is, and will always be, Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Son of God. If you don't know God, or His son whom he sent to die for you and to shed his blood for your sins. Take the time now to bow your head, let not the troubles of the world block you out from prayer. Go into a quiet room, a place of secret and comfort and pray to our Father. Tell Him your heart, let Him know you are sorry for your sins, and that you are thankful He sent His son to be your Savior. Ask Jesus to come into your heart, your life and fill your will happiness and joy. You will find your heart pouring out to him, and he will fill it. Eternal and Everlasting Life in Jesus Christ, is very simple to obtain, He's waiting at the door. Open it and you will obtain that life in Christ Jesus.

Welcome Home, Poem.

Welcome Home, Welcome Home
~Matthew H - ©2011

I saw glorious light, bountiful and pure,
There was no other light like it,
None that could match its glory,
And the feeling that I received was very fulfilling.

It reached into the depths of my soul,
And to my heart it sang a melody true.
Wings extended to the air,
Angels stood upon streets so fair,
With glimmering stones and gems so bright,
Everything that I saw was perfectly right.

A man came walking out to meet me,
I knew Him almost completely.
Though I had not seen Him in person,
I knew Him in spirit,
Just one tender look at Him,
And my heart rejoiced with a power so sweet,
That I fell quickly at His feet.

“My Lord, it is you.” I cried out with a broken voice.
Tears filled my eyes, and a song filled my heart,
When the Choir sang a lullaby,
I knew that this was the start.

The beginning of the never ending story,
A life together with my Lord, my family and friends,
Now there would never be another end.
“My Child.” His warm voice said.
He helped me to my feet and looked into my eyes,
Then His hand came up to wipe away the tears,
And in that instant, I had no fears.

“Welcome home, Welcome home.” He smiled.
I found that love that was pure and true,
The existence that most denies,
I now saw with my own two eyes.

Now with happiness in my soul,
I took in the view of heaven in whole,
And then together my Lord and I,
We walked side by side.

This poem was in my heart and it started with “Glorious Light.” The Bible tells us that God is the Light. The poem took its own course from there, and I felt the power while writing it. Anyone that believes that God is true, that He sent His only Son into the world, to save us…And believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Savior… Well, reading this I am sure you will feel it too. You’ll find it hard to keep those warm tears from your eyes, but remember their tears of joy. Why are they tears of joy, you ask? Because you KNOW God is the Almighty, and you know He gave us His Son, and ultimately you know that He promised us a life EVERLASTING! Isn’t that great? Remember, we are not Children of Men anymore. We lost that when Jesus came for us. We then became Children of God. (I’m writing an article about that, which I’ll be finished with soon.)

But please don’t take this poem and what I write and think that I don’t struggle. Because I do, I have times when the world seems to over-power me. I have times when the devil just doesn’t know how to stop. I am sure that all of us do. But after things become tedious and troublesome the gift that Jesus left us, the Holy Spirit, finds us in the fiery furnace and He brings us out unharmed. That is when we look around, and then look up and realize that we stumbled and we find that solitary path again, and then we walk in the way of Good and Light, Truth and Knowledge.

I’m going to end this here, because it is late and I am tired. But always remember, when you have nowhere to look, even if you’re not having any problems, even if you don’t need anything…Just look up into the bright blue sky, and have a little talk…You’ll find so much comfort in doing so.

Godbless & Goodnight.
